Follow-ups and Replay: the second chances
Follow-ups
A follow-up is one automatic nudge to someone who got your DM but didn't click the link. You pick the delay (presets from 1 hour; the picker shows exactly when it would land). Two rules keep it polite and safe:
- Clicked? No nudge. The follow-up cancels itself the moment they click your link.
- Window respected. Follow-ups only send inside Instagram's messaging window. If the delay would land outside it, the send is skipped and logged — never forced.
One follow-up per lead per automation. Nagging doesn't convert; it gets you muted.
Replay
Replay rescues comments that arrived while your automation was off — paused, not yet created, or quota-stalled. Point it at a post and it scans recent comments, then shows you an eligibility card before sending anything:
- Eligible — matched your keyword, still inside Instagram's 7-day private-reply window, not already DM'd.
- Too old — past 7 days; the platform window has closed and no tool can message them.
- Already handled — got a DM previously; one private reply per comment is a platform rule.
You confirm, Replay queues the eligible ones, and they send at the normal safe pace with live progress. It runs in the background — leave the page whenever.
